Justin Bieber Refuses Plea Deal

Justin Bieber now faces the possibility to go to jail, if he will be found guilty of the charges that have been brought against him. The young star has already been warned by a judge, but it seems that the singer refused the plea deal that prosecutors offered him.

The prosecutors wanted to drop the charges against Bieber if he would have agreed with some conditions, but it looks like Bieber is not going to take the plea deal. The troubled 19-year old star has reportedly rejected this deal, as he fears he won’t be able to respect the terms.

As Justin Bieber seems unable to stay away from problems, the star is actually compared to Lindsay Lohan, who has become widely known for her issues and for being on probation, while violating its terms, for no less than 7 years.

According to the terms of the deal, Justin Bieber will have to be available for random drugs testing anywhere in the world. Moreover, the tests would be made at the singer’s own expense.

The singer would also have to complete 40 hours of community service, as well as to go to an alcohol education course and attend a DUI panel to hear the stories of DUI victims. He was also asked to install an ignition interlock device inside his car for 3 months.

Bieber was offered to plead no contest to reckless driving and take this deal in order to settle the case and avoid jail time. However, it looks that the star is not ready to commit to these terms and he may face conviction instead.

Justin Bieber was charged with driving under the influence, resisting arrest and using an expired license. The star has pleaded not guilty to all the charges.

At the time of his arrest, Bieber had alcohol, marijuana and medication for anxiety in his system, as tests revealed.

The 19-year old singer will appear in court in Florida on March 3. If the star actually refused the plea deal and he will continue to maintain this opinion, he might be charged and can face time in jail. It has been said that Justin will refuse all plea deals which feature probation.
