John Travolta was hit with another lawsuit by an alleged secret lover who claims he was involved in a relationship with the actor for many years. Doug Gotterba told TMZ reporters that he worked as Travolta’s pilot from 1981 to 1987.

The National Enquirer was the first to obtain a declaration from Doug Gotterba, the man who claims he was involved in a romantic affair with the actor for many years. According to his declaration, Gotterba met Travolta during the time he worked as a pilot for the actor, that is, between the years 1981 and 1987.

As soon as the story was published in the newspaper, Travolta’s attorney, Marty Singer contacted the former pilot and threatened him with a lawsuit because he failed to observe the confidentiality agreement he had with the Hollywood star. Gotterba tried to get his back covered by being the first to file a lawsuit against the actor based on the information provided in the letter. The former pilot acknowledges in the court paper that he signed a termination agreement, but he denies there was any confidentiality agreement involved. He claims he is innocent and requests the permission to speak freely about his relationship with John Travolta.

The actor’s legal representative was quick to provide an answer to the former pilot’s lawsuit. He told the press that he has enough evidence to prove that Gotterba signed a confidentiality agreement. Moreover, the lawsuit he filed was only meant to draw people’s attention and grant him “15 minutes of fame”.

Travolta has had a rough year in terms of lawsuits. The actor has been legally attacked three times since the beginning of the year, but all of the cases were dismissed by his attorney.  So far, two masseurs and a cruise worker accused the actor of improper sexual behavior, but the cases were eventually dropped.
