The Kristen Stewart Robert Pattinson cheating scandal and breakup is far from what tabloid media and even fans were expecting. Robert Pattinson is mum about his private affairs and Kristen Stewart is out of public view. Jodie Foster says that’s “the ultimate F.U.” as she takes Kristen Stewart’s side in the cheating scandal.
It goes without saying, Kristen Stewart’s affair with married director Rupert Sanders will haunt her public image for years to come. But there’s one aspect to the whole drama that should be praised. Both Stewart and Pattinson have been really professional about it, not making an already embarrassing issue even more interesting to the media.
The Daily Beast received an article from Jodie Foster, in which she defends Kristen Stewart from the media scrutiny she’s been under since the affair. Truth be told, everybody was eager for the moment Kristen Stewart would f**k things up. And the affair with Rupert Sanders was just the right moment to blast at Stewart full power.
Jodie Foster took Kristen Stewart’s side and blasted at the media. “We’ve all seen the headlines at the check-out counter. ‘Kristen Stewart Caught. We’ve all thumbed the glossy pages here and there. ‘Kris and Rob a couple?’ writes the 49-year-old actress.
“A beautiful young woman strides down the sidewalk alone, head down, hands drawn into fists. She’s walking fast, darting around huge men with black cameras thrusting at her mouth and chest” reads Jodie Foster’s article. “’Kristen, how do you feel? Smile Kris! Hey, hey did you get her? I got her. I got her!’ The young woman doesn’t cry. Fuck no. She doesn’t look up. She’s learned” writes Jodie Foster.
“She keeps her head down, her shades on, fists in her pockets. Don’t speak. Don’t look. Don’t cry” adds the actress. “You trust less. You calculate your steps. You survive” advises Jodie Foster. “Hopefully in the process you don’t lose your ability to throw your arms in the air again and spin in wild abandon. That is the ultimate F.U” she writes.
The actresses worked together on the set of the 2001 movie “Panic Room”. “I’m proud of [Kristen]. I feel like she’s my daughter too!” Jodie Foster told Us Weekly in July. “I just saw ‘Snow White and the Hunstman’ which I thought was extraordinary and I thought she was absolutely brilliant in” she added.
