After Bristol Palin and partner Mark Ballas were voted off “Dancing With The Stars” last night, Jimmy Kimmel sat them down for an exit interview. Jimmy Kimmel apologized for the “one or two” Sarah Palin jokes, but Bristol Palin didn’t accept his apology.
For her second time at “Dancing With The Stars”, Bristol Palin was exited a lot sooner than in Season 11, when she was third. This time around, Bristol Palin and her partner Mark Ballas received some of the lowest scores. Last night, Bristol Palin and Mark Ballas were voted off the competition. Jimmy Kimmel had them over for their exit interview.
Jimmy Kimmel thanked Bristol Palin and Mark Ballas for being good sports and showing up for the interview. “I appreciate you coming, because I made… probably one or two jokes about your mother over the years” Kimmel told Palin. “I think it’s very bold of you” the host poked at Bristol Palin, but the 21-year-old fired back.
“I’m here for my apology” Sarah Palin’s daughter told Jimmy Kimmel. “I’m sorry”, Jimmy Kimmel said with a straight face. But Bristol Palin didn’t even want to hear it. In the end, Jimmy Kimmel admitted it wasn’t such a sincere apology, since he isn’t sorry at all. But he gave Bristol Palin permission to poke fun at his mom. “I will allow you to make 48.000 jokes about my mother” Jimmy Kimmel promised.
But the highlight of the interview wasn’t quite Jimmy Kimmel’s apology attempt for the Sarah Palin jokes. It was his introduction of Bristol Palin that was meant to stick with the audience. “Like a majestic wild moose suddenly felled by a rifle’s blast, tonight our next guest’s dream of dance domination fell to earth with a tragic thud” Jimmy Kimmel said as he introduced Bristol Palin.
Bristol Palin and Mark Ballas were sent home in week four of “Dancing With The Stars”. “Aww, Bristol, I hope you’re proud of yourself for making it this far, I know your fans supported you and rallied for you every week” the show’s co-host told the 21-year-old. “But what do you want to say to all the people who doubted you could do this? Brooke Burke Charvet asked Bristol.
“Well, we did it, we made it to week four, and I’m happy with that, and I had an awesome time, and an awesome partner, and these are just great people, and I wish everyone the best” Bristol Palin replied.
