NEW YORK (AP) – Jessica Simpson took to Twitter once again to announce her second pregnancy. Many rumors have surfaced in the past weeks about a possible pregnancy, but the singer waited until Christmas to deliver the good news.

Months after giving birth to her daughter, Maxwell, Jessica Simpson is getting ready to become a mother one more time. The singer posted a picture of her 7-month-old baby playing in the sand and the caption “Big Sis”. Even though her post was rather short, it was, nonetheless, sufficient for the media to understand the message she was trying to deliver.

Simpson is famous for her Twitter announcements. In October 2011 she posted a funny picture of herself to tell followers that she was expecting her first child. She wore a mummy costume to reveal her baby bump for the first time and played with the significance of the word “mummy” for the special occasion.

The 32-year-old personality has been in the media’s attention because she managed to lose 30 pounds in less than 3 weeks and get back to her pre-natal body shape. She even managed to sign a proficuous deal with Weight Watchers as a spokeswoman of the company. It is unclear whether Simpson will be able to observe her contract or not now that she is expecting her second child.

Jessica made a Christmas wish to all her fans after posting Maxwell’s picture. She and her fiancé, Eric Johnson, have spent the Christmas holidays in Hawaii. They were accompanied by their family members and some of their closest friends. Tabloids have speculated that the couple might get married during the Christmas holiday, but as it turns out, they were, in fact, preparing to make another important announcement: the arrival of their second child.
