Access Hollywood reports that singer Jessica Simpson and her fiancé Eric Johnson have found that they will have a baby girl. The couple wanted to keep the gender of the baby a secret, but Jessica was too excited about the news to refrain from revealing the truth.

The singer proved people that she loves the pregnancy period by taking a nude picture for the cover of Elle Magazine. The pics were inspired by Demi Moore’s photos; therefore, the 31-year-old singer is using one arm to cover her breasts and the other one to cradle her baby bump. Simpson was very talkative during the interview with the Elle reporters revealing the gender of her first baby.

Based on her declarations, the 31-year-old star is going to have a baby girl, but the due date remains unknown for the moment. Judging by the looks of her belly, we would say that Jessica will give birth to her first child this spring.

Friends confirmed that Jessica Simpson is over the moon about the news. She told insiders that she feels as if she had won the lottery twice. The first time she felt like this was when doctors told her that she was expecting a child.

Ever since she found out the sex of the baby, the mom-to-be is doing the best she can to prepare for the arrival of her little princess. She has already begun buying girlie baby clothes and decorating the nursery with objects that are proper for girls. The shades that she has adopted for the baby’s room are green, yellow and pink.

Eric is happy about the news, too. He had initially hoped for a boy, but he has eventually changed his mind and now he is telling everyone that the baby will be his “daddy’s girl”. He even bought pink bubblegum cigars to give to his friends when the baby arrives.

Jessica and Eric spend a lot of time together in order to figure out the perfect name for their baby girl. They told reporters that they haven’t decided yet, but they are considering Morgan or Karen. The couple plans to get married in Hawaii on November 2011.
