After giving birth to two adorable children, Jessica Alba is ready to make her comeback on the big screen. She has already begun to make preparations for the “Sin City” sequel where she will interpret exotic dancer Nancy Callahan, according to the Daily Mail.

Jessica Alba has kept her fans up to date with the recent events in her life with the help of the Twitterverse. During the past years, however, she has kept aloof from the prying eyes of the media because she wanted to dedicate all her attention to her family. Now that she has two children, namely, Honor Marie, 4, and Haven Garner, 1, Alba has decided to return to the movie industry.

The first movie role she is going to take up in the following period is that of Nancy Callahan, the exotic dancer from “Sin City”. Since the character looks slightly different from the actress, Alba has already made a few changes on her look. Thus, on August 25, she posted a picture of herself and her new blonde locks. The image was accompanied by the message “She got roots that Nancy” because the actress’ roots are darker than the rest of the hair.

Lightening her hair is not the only change that Jessica made in order to prepare for the movie. She also announced her fans that she went on a shooting range to get accustomed with guns. The 31-year-old sex symbol showed several photos that were taken on the shooting range before she started firing.

While others may find movie preparations tiresome, the mother of two thinks they are quite entertaining. She wrote her followers that visiting a shooting range is an interesting way “to start the day” and concluded that preparing for a part in a movie is “sorta fun”.

The “Sin City” sequel will be released in October 2013. Mickey Rourke, Michael Madsen, and Devon Aoki are some of the actors who will join Jessica Alba on the big screen.
