Jerry Seinfeld’s fans will be happy to hear that the comedian is ready to make a comeback. The 58-year-old actor will debut a new web series set in cars that is simply called “Comedians In Cars Getting Coffee”, according to the Associated Press.

It’s been a while since we’ve last seen Jerry Seinfeld in a comedy, but the actor has prepared an innovative series that is expected to draw lots of viewers. “Comedians In Cars Getting Coffee” is a web series of short clips in which Seinfeld drives vintage cars in company of famous actors.

The promo, which was released on Thursday, was criticized by some viewers. According to them, the music, the images and the overall aspect of the teaser trailer was not as good as they had expected. Nevertheless, they admitted that they will most likely watch the web series knowing that Jerry Seinfeld is a good comedian.

The trailer opens with a rather noisy scene in which the 58-year-old comedian gets inside an old car with red leather upholstery. The following sequences display Seinfeld and other comedians and actors driving around in narrow vintage cars. Judging by the looks of the teaser, Larry David, Ricky Gervais, Michael Richards and Alec Baldwin are some of the guests he will have on the web show.

The web series is not the only project that Seinfeld is currently taking care of; he is also producing a panel-style reality TV show called “The Marriage Ref” with the help of NBC. In addition, he is directing “Long Story Short”, a Broadway show for Colin Quinn.

The series “Comedians In Cars Getting Coffee” was produced in collaboration with Crackle, the digital network belonging to Sony Pictures Entertainment.
