Jay-Z and Beyoncé have drawn all the media’s attention when they decided to go on a night out on Sunday, according to the Press Association. The couple was invited at the 35th birthday party of the R&B singer Robin Thicke which was held at the Catch restaurant in the Meatpacking district, New York.
The two parents are rarely seen at prestigious events lately because they prefer to spend time with their new born baby, Blue Ivy Carter. Although she gave birth to her first child in January 2012, Beyoncé has quickly gained her good looks impressing everyone with her svelte figure. The singer was as glamorous as usual, whereas her hubby, Jay-Z opted for a casual outfit donning a T-shirt and a baseball cap.
There were many other celebrities that were present at the birthday party including Russell Simmons and music mogul Andre Harrell. The anniversary lasted for three hours during which the restaurant played songs from Thicke’s iPod. Insiders claim the atmosphere of the party was intimate even though there were almost 20 guests present at the anniversary.
According to the declarations of the sources, the R&B couple spent great part of the evening talking about the wonders of parenthood with the rest of the guests. Beyoncé showed everyone the latest pictures of her daughter, Blue Ivy and all the guests at the table were delighted to see the little girl.
Given that guests were having such a great time at the restaurant, a person sitting next to their table sent Thicke a $30,000 bottle of Ace of Spades Rosé as a gift for his 35th anniversary. The two-story restaurant was not entirely occupied by Thicke’s guests. There were other celebrities dining there, such as, Chris Burch and twins Cameron and Tyler Winklevoss.
The party lasted until 2:30 a.m. when the last guests left the restaurant. Jay-Z and Beyoncé decided to leave after the meal because they had to go home to their child.
