Javier Bardem might get a role in the upcoming movie Pirates of the Caribbean 5. The Oscar winning actor might actually appear as a villain in the new movie. The newest series, Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales, promises to be as interesting as possible.
The news was revealed for the first time now, as until this moment it has been claimed that the villain part will be interpreted by Christoph Waltz. Apparently, Javier Bardem already is in talks with producers about this role. If the negotiations will reach a conclusion, Bardem is set to play the part of Captain Brand, who will want revenge against Capt. Jack Sparrow. The man says that Jack is responsible with the death of his brother.
Well, if it is rumored that Javier Bardem will play a role in this movie, there are no revelations on whether Penelope Cruz will still have a part in the latest Pirates of the Caribbean. So, the real life wife of Javier Bardem has been featured in the Pirate of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides, but it’s not known if she will appear in the next story or not.
Naturally, Johnny Deep will reprise his role as Jack Sparrow. It is claimed that Geoffrey Rush will also play Barbosa. The movie is directed by Joachim Ronning and Espen Sandberg and is produced by Jerry Bruckheimer.
Javier Bardem is well known for his numerous successful roles. The star has also won the Best Supporting Actor Oscar for his role in No Country for Old Men. The popular actor has starred in Skyfall, too, in 2013. He can now be seen in The Gunman, movie in which he stars alongside Sean Peen, Ray Winstone, Mark Rylance, Idris Elba and Jasmine Trinca. The Gunman will hit theaters on February 20, 2015.
Pirates of the Caribbean 5 is set to hit theaters in 2017. Well, if the role will be confirmed, it will surely be really interesting to discover Javier Bardem’s performance, but fans will have to wait for several months until they will be able to discover it.
