Jamie Foxx is without a doubt a hero for the man who suffered a car accident in front of the actor’s home. So, Jamie actually saved the victim’s life, hurrying out to pull the man out of the car, just before it burst into flames.
The whole incident occurred on Monday night. The actor was at home when he heard the loud noise created by the crash. The star has a property in Hidden Valley, California. So, Jamie Foxx went out to see what happened, when he saw the smoking car and the driver trapped inside.
Jamie reacted immediately and pulled the victim out of the vehicle in time. Soon after, the car burst in flames. Jamie Foxx also called 911 and managed to take the driver to safety, before the paramedics arrived at the scene of the incident.
The victim was soon transported to the hospital with burns. The driver was then identified as Brett Kyle, who is believed to have lost control of the vehicle. According to some reports, he was driving under the influence and was later taken into custody. Well, as expected, the family of the young man was extremely grateful to the actor. So, Jamie met up with the father of the accident’s victim and shared a pic of the encounter on Instagram. The photo is quite emotional. “Met the father of the young man from last night today. This is all that matters,” the actor shared along with the pic. “That a man, a son, a brother’s life was spared last night. God had his arms wrapped around all of us…No heroes…Just happy fathers.”
There is no doubt in the fact that Jamie did a wonderful thing. Well, the actor also opened up about the accident during a recent interview on ABC 7 News. “He has EMT scissors. He hits the glass, I climb in and try to hit his seat belt, but he’s hovered over, so the seat belt is on him. So I grabbed the scissors from him, cut the seat belt, but it’s on his neck. So I cut it off his neck,” the actor said. “And as we pull him out, within five seconds later, the truck goes up,” he went to say.
