LG has announced in the past that it intended to release a new line of extra-premium devices. Well, it looks like it kept its word and unveiled its new LG V10. This new device comes packed with all the luxury features that can be found in other high-end flagship phones.
This means that the new LG V10 comes with a fingerprint reader, two displays, two front-facing cameras and other interesting photo tools. Moreover, this phone has something that other phones have started to quit: a removable battery and expandable memory.
Releasing a new family line, LG now has the opportunity to experiment with its handsets, meaning that we will have the opportunity to enjoy so interesting devices in the future. However, the new LG V10 isn’t meant for a wide audience, compared with the famous G4. This means that the new device is meant for a small group that are fans of premium features, especially of high-end cameras.
However, its price isn’t encouraging for average smartphone users, because the new V10 comes at the price of 600-700 dollars. It’s an expensive product, probably being more affordable compared with the cost of other larger-screen dual-displays, like Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge+.
Probably, the main attraction on the new LG V10 is the secondary display, which is pretty useful and makes the device unique. Located at the top of the main display, the 2.1-inch secondary display homes six shortcut menus to swipe through. Here, users can keep five of their favorite apps that can arrange or choose, music player controls, five of their favorite contacts where they can tap on a contact to call or text them. Another interesting feature about the second display is that even if the main display is off, the secondary display can stay on continuously to show battery status, time, date or the current weather.
The new LG V10 also packs a 1.8GHz six-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor, accompanied by 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage that can go up to 2TB of expandable memory. The 3,000mAh removable battery has a satisfactory usage time.
