iPad Air 2 and iPad Mini 3 Feature Great Improvements

Apple has recently released two new great devices, the iPad Air 2 and the iPad Mini 3. Well, the new iPad Air has managed to impress with features such as the Touch ID fingerprint scanner and of course the amazing speed of the device. The iPad Air 2 is powered by a 1.5 GHz A8x triple-core processor and 2GB Ram. These features are making this tablet the fastest on the market, significantly faster than the first iPad Air, even faster than the latest iPhone 6.

Benchmark data shows that the iPad Air 2 is 54 percent faster than the iPhone 6 and 6 plus in the multi-core benchmark. The iPad Air 2 is going to hit the preorders soon and these benchmarks are making it even more wanted. The Geekmark score is showing that this device is the most powerful and fastest tablet on the market.

Even if it has remarkable configuration, such as 2GB RAM and a 1.5 GHZ tri-core processor, the battery life remains the same, about 10 hours. These means that Apple figured out the balance between battery life and speed, while designing a great product. With this kind of features, the iPad Air 2 is the fastest tablet on the globe, exceeding even the Nvidia’s Tegra K1 Shield Tablet. The surprising thing is that this tablet is faster with over 60 percent than the iPhone 6.

In the past of few years, Apple made more than 224 million tablets, the iPad becoming a leader on the market and beating all other similar devices. Tim Cook, Apple’s CEO, claimed to be really happy with how satisfied customers are with their current Apple devices. In this context, it might be quite hard for Apple to convince them to upgrade to the new tablets. Especially if the price for iPad Air 2 starts at 499 dollars and the smaller one, iPad Mini 3, starts at 399 dollars.

Even if the iPad Air 2 is an amazing tablet, the competition is great. A strong competition is brought by Samsung’s Galaxy Tab S, the upcoming HTC Google Nexus 9 with the new Android Lollipop software and Microsoft’s Surface Pro 3.
