Idol’s Scotty McCreery Fell Off Stage

Everybody has their share of embarrassing moments, but it’s not the same thing when it happens to celebrity. American Idol’s Scotty McCreery 18-year-old star fell off stage during a concert at the Bethel Woods Center last week.

Celebrity has its share of perks and flaws. While fame will make your name popular nationwide and even globally, the same thing will make you think stage choreography a lot better next time. The young “American Idol” star Scotty McCreery learned that the hard way after going through most likely the first most embarrassing moment of his career. Idol’s Scotty McCreery just fell off the stage during a performance.

The 18-year-old “American Idol” champ was opening for fellow country star Brad Paisley at a concert in Bethel, NY last Friday night. Scotty McCreery was performing a version of Travis Tritt’s “T.R.O.U.B.L.E” when he accidentally fell off stage. He tumbled into the audience pit, but there’s was no crowd surfing. Just some bruises.

But unlike many other experienced celebrities today, Scotty McCreery knows the meaning of “The show must go on”. The 18-year-old country crooner and former Idol star kept singing during the whole accident without pausing too much. In fact he performed the song without making any fuss about it.

Still Idol’s Scotty McCreery’s misstep went viral online. Partly because he posted a video of him falling off the stage and partly because Brad Paisley kept it going. After the show was over, Scotty McCreery posted a video of him felling off stage on his Twitter page. And “if anybody wants a good laugh” go check it out.

But whereas fans were indulgent and appreciative of his performance, Brad Paisley was unable to resist the temptation and poked fun at Scotty McCreery. Two days later, at a gig in Darien Lake, Brad Paisley placed traffic cones in the section of the stage that was so challenging for his younger protégé.

“@BradPaisley wanted me to be extra catious tonight! Thanks Brad!” tweeted Idol’s Scotty McCreery after seeing the traffic cones on stage. “Dagum @BradPaisley pranked me again…he narrowed up the stage on me for my last song” he later wrote on Twitter.
