It was about time! What took Hef so long replacing ex fiancée Crystal harris with a new blonde?
 
Just a few days after Playboy founder Hugh Hefner and Crystal Harris called off their wedding, Hef found comfort in the arms of another Playmate. His new girlfriend is Shera Bechard. This comes after Hef originally announced that Playmate Anna Sophia Burgland was his new girl. The 85-year-old Hefner has posted a message on his Twitter page on Monday, saying “Shera is both our November 2011 Playmate & my new girlfriend.”
 Shera Bechard is 27 years old and she comes from Kapuskasing, Ontario, Canada. She starred in the movie “Sweet Karma” she played the role of a shy mute Russian woman who got caught up in the mafia in Toronto.

Earlier this month, Hugh Hefner, 85, and Crystal Harris, 25, were supposed to get married, but apparently Harris had changed her mind. Hef posted on his Twitter page “the wedding is off. Crystal has had a change of heart.” A few days after the wedding cancellation, Harris tried to give back the wedding ring but Hef says she could keep it, along with the Bentley he had previously bought for her.

Regarding the wedding plans, Crystal gave more detail on the reasons she decided not to marry Hef afterall. “After much deep reflection and thought I have decided to end my engagement with Hef,” she wrote in an official statement, just hour after Hefner tweeted the message on his page. “I have the utmost respect for Hef and wish him the best going forward. I hope the media will give each of us the privacy we deserve during this time,” she added.

According to Crystal’s manager, Michael Blakely, the coupe had split amicably, despite the rumors that the 25-year-old had left her senior boyfriend for a much younger and handsomer one, Jordan McGraw. This however, confirms the thoughts of Hef’s girlfriend before Crystal, Girls Next Door star Holly Madison, who said that Hef is not really marriage material. This is probably why the Playboy owner will have many more blondes on his arm in the following years
