Huawei SnapTo comes with LTE

Huawei released another budget LTE smartphone, which comes with a few selected features. The advantage of this phone is that its price is relatively low, it has LTE and the customer doesn’t even need a contract.

Probably, its 5-megapixel camera disappoints a few people, but we must keep under consideration the fact that it came out as a budget phone and its specs are entry-level. Huawei SnapTo comes at the price of 180 dollars unlocked and is a very good device compared with other phones that can be found at the same price range.

Huawei SnapTo comes in a plain plastic slab, a 2-megapixel camera on the front and a 5-inch 720 display. The headphone jack can be found on the top of the phone, while the volume controls and lock button sit on the right side of it.

A nice thing about the case is that the back of the phone is adorned with a faux-leather texture that feels very smooth and homes a 5-megapixel camera. Unfortunately, the camera doesn’t have an LED flash. Its 5-inch display seems to be very decent, but its off-axis viewing angles aren’t very wide, although colors are bright and pleasant to watch. Shifting from cool blues to warm yellows, users can change the display.

That 720p resolution isn’t very attractive, compared with higher-end devices, but it suits the phone well and it features about 294 pixels per inch, which makes the text crisp and nice. However, Huawei’s SnapTo design makes it feel safe and solid. To be said that the black-on-black phone is also available with a white backing. The phone homes Huawei’s Emotion UI, which is known as a customized version of Android 4.4 KitKat. That means that users will not be able to enjoy the new functionality built into Android 5.0 Lollipop, including revamped notification and a refreshed look.

Huawei SnapTo can be found with a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor and 1GB of RAM. It doesn’t sound impressive, but the specs can handle web browsing, texting messages, playing decent games and many other daily activities. The SnapTo homes 4GB of storage and can be extended at 32 GB via microSD card. The 2,200mAh battery is very good compared with budget competitors. The company declared that it can last about 11 hours and 45 minutes.
