When it comes to Halloween, no other celebrity loves creepy disguises like Heidi Klum. The Victoria’s Secret model was often praised for wearing the best Halloween costume of the year, so here are a few ideas for this year’s party in case you feel uninspired.
Heidi Klum’s first appearance which left everyone open-mouthed took place in 2002 when she impersonated sexy Betty Boop. The German model was accompanied by her then-husband, Ric Pipino, who opted for an Elvis Presley costume. This look is probably the least elaborate because it can be easily recreated with a tight-fitting red dress, a short black wig and smokey eye make-up.
Although the costumes she wears each year are all interesting it was the Kitty Cat outfit she chose in 2007 that caused a stir. The model took care of every single detail from the pointy ears, to the whiskers and the long tail. Ironically, Klum accessorized her costume with a collar that read “If found, please return to Seal”, her ex-husband.
The next year, Heidi wore one of the most elaborate costumes in the history of Hollywood’s Halloween Party. She decided to disguise herself as Kali, the Hindu goddess of destruction and, for that, six prosthetic arms had been attached to her back, whereas severed hands and shrunken heads were dangling from her waist belt. Heidi Klum declared that she wanted to be Kali because she was very mean and she killed many people.
Just when we thought we’ve seen it all and there is no other way the “Germany’s Next Topmodel” judge can surprise us, Heidi Klum shocked everyone with her hand-painted bodysuit. The model was unrecognizable and looked as if her skin had been peeled off. To make even a bigger impression, Klum was transported on a gurney by a doctor wearing a blood-stained shirt. A few days later, she attended a party in New York wearing a chimpanzee costume inspired by the characters in “The Planet of the Apes”.
The 39-year-old businesswoman has already revealed that this year she will be dressed as Cleopatra. It is her boyfriend bodyguard Martin Kristen who has triggered a lot of rumors as people wonder whether he will show up as Marc Anthony or not.
