According to Apple’s report, the new iPhone 5 may be released next week and until then all the fans of the IT giant’s products can go through the final countdown. A series of whole new features for the latest generation iPhone and the announcement of the release of some other devices tempt us to stay focused on what Apple’s next move will be.
Earlier this month, Apple officially announced that the iPhone 5 will be released on October 4, leaving the fans to count the days, the hours and probably the minutes until they will be able to get their hands on the much-awaited device. The event will take place on October 4, at Apple’s Cupertino campus.
What can we expect from the new iPhone 5? After the launch of iCloud, there was speculation that iPhone 5 will look very similar to the iPhone 4. Now, Lance Ulanoff from Mashable says that “the iPhone 5 will be radical design departure”.
When it comes to his “inner powers”, iPhone has an A5 chip (a custom Dual Core CPU) and a larger quantity of RAM, which will improve the phone’s performance without a doubt. It is also provided with a wider screen and it includes an 8 megapixel camera and 1080 video recording. It is rumored that its battery will be more powerful in order to support the new improved performances. It is also believed that Apple’s Siri acquisition from last year will be incorporated, thus enabling the service of voice-based personal assistant to the customers. And when it comes to the services included, iOS5 and iCloud will definitely be on the list. Finally, Apple is thought to go for 4G/LTE support, as the competition is increasing the stake.
On the same day, Apple is rumored to release a cheaper version of the iPhone which will be based on the current iPhone 4.
