“Desperate Housewives” star, Eva Longoria denied rumors claiming her engagement to boyfriend Eduardo Cruz. The couple has started dating nine months ago, but according to Eva’s representative, she does not think about tying the knot again; at least not just yet.

On Wednesday night, paparazzi have managed to catch on their sneaky cameras the Hollywood star Eva Longoria and her boyfriend of nine months, Eduardo Cruz. They had a nice quiet diner at Eva’s restaurant, “Beso” (Spanish for “kiss”).Despite their romantic involvement, the diva is not ready yet for an official commitment. She just got a divorce from her former husband, Tony Parker last year.

Recently, Star magazine has reported that Longoria, 36, and Cruz, 25, have got engaged. A spokesperson for the actress denied the report, claiming that she is not ready to tie the knot again. However, this does not make the relationship just a fling. The two are spending a lot of time together since they got together last winter. This summer, Eva got to know Eduardo’s nephew, Leo Bardem, the son of famous actors Penelope Cruz and Javier Bardem. (Yes, in case you did not know this, Eduardo is Penelope’s brother).  So, getting your girlfriend to spend quality time with your family is definitely proof that you’re serious.

Prior to the relationship with Eduardo, Eva was married to basketball player Tony Parker, from July 2007 to November 2010. The duo first met in November 2004 and two years later they were engaged. The marriage began shaking when rumors about Parker’s infidelity struck. Even though they filed a lawsuit against the website that published the news which, according to them, was false, Eva filed for a divorce in 2010 claiming “irreconcilable differences”. She got her maiden name restored and also got spousal support from her ex-husband.

Seeing her past experience with marriage, it’s no wonder she is not rushing into a new one.
