From the looks of it, there’s no stopping to the Elton John vs. Madonna feud. In a recent interview Elton John did on Sunday night, he said Madonna is a “f**king fairground stripper”.
The two music tycoons have been at it for years now. Sometimes the comments were more intense, other times it looked like the two have finally came to an agreement. But the Elton John vs. Madonna feud just got back on track. Over the weekend, Elton John criticized Madonna using some harsh words. Elton John said Madonna’s career is over and slammed her for looking and acting like a “f**king fairground stripper”.
This Sunday night, Australia’s Channel 7 program aired an interview with Elton John. Most of that interview was Elton John dissing Madonna. One music diva to another, Elton John said Madonna’s career is over and if the pop queen had any common sense she would have contented with doing just music.
“Why is she such a nightmare? Her career is over, I can tell you that” said Elton John about Madonna. “Her tour has been a disaster and it couldn’t happen to a bigger [expletive]” he added.
Elton John and Madonna have been at yet for years now. Well, Elton John more than Madonna anyway. But the comments Elton John made this past Sunday are easily the harshest. “If Madonna had any common sense, she would have made a record like ‘Ray of Light’ stayed away from the dance stuff, and just been a great pop singer and made great pop records, which she does brilliantly” said Elton John on Australia’s Channel 7. By the end of his critic, Elton John concluded Madonna looked like a “f**king fairground stripper”.
While Madonna kept cool most of the times over the years as Elton John kept slamming her with negative comments, the latest remarks might be enough to get a reaction from the queen of pop. Being called a “f**king fairground stripper” and having Elton John saying your career is over are not exactly comments that are easy to swallow.
A few years ago, Elton John slammed Madonna for lip syncing. “Anyone who lip-synchs in public on stage when you pay $134 to see them should be shot” said Elton John in 2004 referring to Madonna’s Re-Invention Tour. He made the same accusation at this year’s Super Bowl halftime show.
