Although I haven’t met one person so far that would be a fan of the Kardashian family, its members are so appealing for the public that despite everything, TV ratings remain high. The Kardashians managed to score a three year deal with E! Network.
By far not as glamorous and interesting as the network thinks, the Kardashian family interestingly continues to draw in focus. Whether it’s Kim Kardashian’s love story with rapper Kanye West or the drama in Kourtney Kardashian’s and Lamar Odom’s lives, everybody linked with this family is under constant media surveillance. The new deal with E! Network confirms that this is a family that will continue to remain in trends for several more years, at least.
Kim Kardashian, Kourtney Kardashian, Khloe Kardashian Odom, Rob Kardashian, Bruce Jenner, Kris Jenner, Kendall Jenner and Kylie Jenner might not have all make it into the breaking news section, but things will change with season 9 of “Keeping Up With The Kardashians”.
The three years deal has secured the Kardashians coverage for another three seasons. It is rumored that the new seasons will make the show even more “invasive” in the personal lives of the stars. Apparently during the next three seasons the network is going to experiment a bit by putting in ideas that haven’t made it so far on the screen.
For E! Network, the controversial family has been boosting revenue. Not only did the network appeal to its audience with the dedicated show: “Keeping Up With The Kardashians” but also with the spinoffs. “Kourtney and Kim Take New York” and “Khloe and Lamar” have been for some reason a complete success. For instance the last season of “Keeping Up With The Kardashians” brought the network 3 million viewers.
At the same time, if Kim’s love story with Kanye West continues, then we can only expect to be writing about a new reality show on E! featuring the two soon enough. It’s pretty likely that E! Network is going to want to take full advantage of Kim’s relationship to Kanye West. Her previous failed marriage and love story with basketball player Kris Humphries has been a raving success for the network.
