It’s going to be a wedding marathon this year for another wedding is on its way. Us Weekly announced that Drew Barrymore got engaged to her boyfriend, Will Kopelman. The engagement came at a perfect time because the actress was desperate to get married and have children.

Kopelman popped the question around the holidays while he was in Sun Valley, Idaho. Normally, we would say this proposal is unique, unexpected, downright romantic, but given the large numbers of celebrities that got engaged this winter, we think it’s actually common.

The two have been dating for a short period of time, but they have realized that they are made for each other, so they see no point in waiting. The 36-year-old actress was first spotted in company of Kopelman in February 2011. However, sources close to the couple claim that the two dated for a while in 2010, as well, but split up at the time.

Sources also added that the 34-year-old art consultant was determined to pop the question “around the one-year mark of their dating”. The insider stated that Kopelman is madly in love of Drew and he is sure that she is The One.

As soon as Drew received the engagement ring, she posed for a picture that shows the beaming jewelry. She is in company of her future husband on a park bench and the only thing that is brighter than her diamond ring is her innocent smile. The Graff ring has a radiant-cut diamond, just under 4 carats, set on a diamond-covered band.

This is Drew’s third marriage. In March 1994 she tied the knot with Welsh bar owner Jeremy Thomas. The relationship didn’t work out as the two separated after only a month. Later on, in July 2001, the actress said “I Do” to MTV star Tom Green. The second marriage lasted slightly longer but after five months the couple was already filing for divorce.

We hope third time is the charm and Drew’s marriage will last longer than the previous ones. Lately, she was romantically involved with fellow actor Justin Long and The Strokes drummer Fabrizio Moretti.
