After being reported missing for several days, deputies announce that people should not worry about Katherine Jackson’s absence, says Us Weekly. The mother of the late King of Pop and the guardian of his three minor children is recovering in Arizona, so there is no reason to worry about her safety.

Katherine Jackson was reported missing on Saturday night after a family dispute concerning the estate of her late son, Michael Jackson. The family was worried sick because they didn’t know anything about her, so they alerted the police. After a brief investigation, sheriff’s officials reassured them that the 82-year-old woman was in Arizona with a relative.

The news was confirmed by one of Katherine’s close friends. According to the source, the Jackson family matriarch followed her doctor’s advice to go to a quiet place and rest for the following days. The woman chose to go to Arizona because her daughter Rebbie was there. 

It was Michael Jackson’s daughter, Paris, who caused everyone to worry about her grandmother. The 14-year-old girl posted a message on her Twitter account saying that she is worried about Katherine because she hasn’t seen her for more than a week. She also invited people to give any information if they see the 82-year-old woman or have any news from her. Her attorneys were worried, too, because Katherine wouldn’t have stayed a week without speaking with her grandchildren.

One of Michael Jackson’s physicians, Dr. Allan Metzger, told police officers that he examined the woman on July 14 after she was brought to her home in Calabasas. His declaration raised even more concerns within the Jackson family members as Metzger had testified for Dr. Conrad Murray during the 2009 trial related to Michael Jackson’s propofol overdose. He stated back then, that the King of Pop requested him to administer stronger drugs, but the physician refused saying it was too dangerous. Paris Jackson reminded everyone that her grandmother is now cured by the same doctor who called her father a drug addict in court.
