It’s a well-known fact that after every storm comes a rainbow, so it shouldn’t surprise us that Denise Richards and her ex-husband, Charlie Sheen managed to work things out between them. According to The Inquisitr, the actress announced on Wednesday that she will play Sheen’s love interest in his upcoming show “Anger Management”.
Denise Richards and Charlie Sheen did not end their marriage on good terms. The actor had been behaving erratically for a long time when Richards decided to call it quits. The straw that broke the camel’s back was the verbal violence that Sheen showed towards his wife on stage calling her a “loser”, a “whore”, a “dognapper” and even crippling her name to “Duh-neese”.
Despite this, the past problems have been cast aside because the two stars plan to collaborate together for the production of the new FX comedy “Anger Management”. Although the actress initially declared that she will have a guest appearance on the show, Richards made another announcement on Wednesday telling people that she obtained a part in the sitcom. Denise will interpret the “love interest” of the Charlie Sheen character. She will, thus, join the Sheen family on the set because Martin Sheen, Charlie’s real-life father will be playing his dad on the show.
Richards was not bothered by the fact that she will be playing in the same comedy with her ex-husband; on the contrary, she told reporters that they have worked out the problems between them and that she gets along very well with Charlie lately. She added that the actor is no longer angry, so the two can talk like two normal people.
Charlie focused mainly on his children and his job in the past months; therefore, Denise is considering reconciliation. According to her, the 46-year-old actor has overcome his drinking problems and is now in a great shape.
“Anger Management” is the new comedy featuring Charlie Sheen and his father, Martin Sheen. The show, which is due to start on June 28, aroused a lot of curiosity among Charlie Sheen’s fans.
