After the Demi Moore 911 call news reports that went viral over the Internet, it’s time for reports regarding the once Hollywood’s highest paid actress’ rehab. According to E!, Demi Moore joined Brooke Mueller in rehab at Utah’s Cirque Lodge clinic.
Cirque Lodge rehab clinic is the place where the crème of celebrities goes to detox and get rid of bad habits that ruin the glamorous life. If you’ve always imagined you’d love to have the life of celebrities, better think twice. Just remember that names such as Brooke Mueller, Lindsay Lohan, Kirsten Dunst, Eva Mendes and Mary Kate Olsen are on Cirque Lodge’s list of rehab patients.
According to E!, the 49 year old actress is under treatment for substance abuse and an eating disorder. Reports also state that the actress is in “total lockdown”, the early stage of the treatment. A source told Radar Online that Demi “hasn’t had any interaction with other patients yet. She is still in detox at the moment”.
Both her exes, Bruce Willis and Ashton Kutcher, visited Demi Moore at her home in the Benedict Canyon area of Los Angeles earlier this week, but the actress was already in Utah. Reports say that Ashton is having a hard time trying to figure out how to help Demi, and while “there is still a lot of love there”, there’s no chance of a reconciliation.
The rehab comes just two weeks after Demi Moore was hospitalized after a 911 call requested immediate help. As TMZ writes, a friend of the actress told paramedics Demi had more whip-its than she could take. Yet, the 911 call the woman talking to the dispatcher said the actress smoked something, but it wasn’t marijuana.
Following hospitalization, a rep for the actress explained Demi would seek treatment for exhaustion from the latest events in her life. And we’re talking about serious stuff. The meltdown came only a few months after the announcement Demi and Ashton were getting a divorce after a six years marriage and reports leaked that Ashton had cheated on her.
“Because of the stresses in her life right now, Demi has chosen to seek professional assistance to treat her exhaustion and improve overall health. She looks forward to getting well”, the rep told the media.
