Earlier this month, a report talked about the chance that Demi Lovato and Miley Cyrus would also join the show as judges. For the moment, Demi Lovato has been confirmed as X Factor judge.

It’s a well known fact that Simon Cowell is out to get the most popular names for his show. It’s also no surprise that what Simon wants Simon gets. Britney Spears was among the first celebrities that popped when Simon Cowell first started to look for replacements for Paula Abdul and Nicole Scherzinger.

For both Britney Spears and Simon Cowell such a deal is going to be more than beneficial. But getting Britney Spears on the show wasn’t the only thing he had in mind. While Britney does appeal to a broad audience and can raise the show’s popularity with her comeback, X Factor could use a younger audience. Like the one responding to Demi Lovato and Miley Cyrus.

Today, Fox has scheduled an official presentation of the judges’ panel on X Factor. Although the network hasn’t confirmed Britney Spears on Demi Lovato yet, chances are the rumors will confirm. The two of them do fit the profile. When X Factor judges Nicole Scherzinger and Paula Abdul left the show, the rumor has it that Simon Cowell was looking for two female celebrities that already had “that X factor”.

A source close to Britney Spears said the pop princess would be happy to have Demi Lovato as co-judge on X Factor. “Britney is extremely hopeful that Demi will become one of the judges because she truly admires her. Britney loves how open and honest Demi has been with her fans”.
