It’s the week Dancing With the Stars fans eagerly anticipate all season long! On the 11th of October, on a Monday the celebs and stars performed their most beloved characters in the beginning of Disney week. And it had the highest score for the season to date.
JoJo Siwa and Jenna Johnson were the first couple to dance to dance the Vienesse Waltz in the tune of “A Dream Is a Wish Your Heart Makes” from Cinderella in the performance, JoJo was the leader and dressed as a prince. “Girls can do anything guys can do — and sometimes even better,” Carrie Ann Inaba said after the show, which the Nickelodeon star was in agreement with.
“I’ve always believed that girls could do everything. Guys are able to accomplish everything,” she told host Tyra Banks after the dance. “Anyone can do anything.” The ladies were awarded three nines, the first of the season.
Then, later in the night, Olivia Jade Giannulli revealed her partner Val Chermkovskiy she thinks the competition gets more difficult as time passes and she’s prepared to work hard, especially because she is like she’s so close to the actor.
Derek Hough was pleasantly surprised by the two, and told her that she’s become among the “favorite performers on this show.” Carrie Ann noted that “the chemistry and the trust” between the two is so obvious between them.
“Honestly, I trust him so much and it’s hard to trust people,” Olivia Jade said ahead of their scores. When they were awarded three nominees Val was so thrilled that he fell to the floor.
Then, in the night, Sharna Burgess as well as Brian Austin Green performed a waltz with Brian Austin Green to “Someday My Prince Will Come” from White & The Seven Dwarfs the song she believed was perfect because she regards the singer as her Prince. Although Carrie Ann criticized the fact that they were able to lift, which isn’t permitted in a waltz Bruno Tonioli and Len felt that the love song was too sweet-lovely.
“It’s Snow White, I don’t know how you don’t love each other,” the Beverly Hills, 90210 alum replied. If the couple received an average score of just 25, out of 40 both seemed disappointed.
The professional dancer spoke exclusively to DailyGossip prior to Monday’s episode and shared that she believes their relationship is an “disadvantage” in a way.
“People are expecting this intense chemistry all the time on the dance floor,” she explained. “And when it’s not there, people think”They don’t have any the chemistry. The dance world is different. … We’re doing our best in it.”
The highest scoring of the evening was scored by Melora Hardin as well as Artem Chigvintsev. They did a flawless job of executing their dance in “I Wan’na Be Like You” from The Jungle Book. Derek claimed that he was close to giving the two a 10. However, they were awarded the four-nine that was all they got for the night.
In the final episode the judges announced the fact that Jimmie Allen and Emma Slater took home in the Mickey Dance Challenge, giving the pair two additional points. One couple is sent home on this Tuesday’s, Oct. 12 episode.
