Us Weekly reports that Chris Brown’s new girlfriend, Karrueche Tran, was upset to hear that Rihanna kissed her boyfriend at the VMA. She described the intimate moment between the former lovers as “a public slap in the face”.

Karrueche Tran has never had Rihanna at heart, but things are about to get worse after this year’s edition of the Video Music Awards. The model was shocked when she was notified that her boyfriend embraced and kissed Rihanna on Thursday, inside the Staples Center in Los Angeles. In fact, the majority of the people watching the gala were surprised to see the two singers displaying their affection in front of the audience.

Tran declared later on, that she was “pissed off” with Chris Brown’s behavior. She felt as though she had been publicly slapped in the face (interesting choice of words) by her boyfriend, who decided at the last minute to attend the VMA. Sources have added that Tran was not even informed that her boyfriend was going to attend the Music Awards gala.

Karrueche has many reasons to condemn her partner’s behavior, especially since rumors about Chris and Rihanna secretly dating have surfaced at the beginning of the year. Moreover, the two have constantly maintained an online relationship through their Twitter accounts. During a recent interview with Oprah Winfrey, Rihanna stated that she still has feelings for Chris whom she described as “the love of my life”. 

After her song “We Found Love” won the award for the “Video Of The Year” category, Rihanna threw herself into the arms of Chris Brown and planted him a kiss. In the end, she caressed his newly bleached hair in a playful manner. The moment triggered many suppositions as people are now wondering whether the kiss was meant to announce their reconciliation or not.
