Last night in Los Angeles, Cheryl Cole and Will.i.am had a car accident on their way home. They escaped the car crash with minor injuries, but pictures of Cheryl Cole and Will.i.am covered in blood were not easy to swallow.
Reports read that singers Cheryl Cole and Will.i.am were involved in a car crash last night. Both of them suffered minor injuries, but Cheryl Cole’s are said to be worse than Will.i.am. The two stars were in Will.i.am’s luxury Cadillac on their way back from the studio. The car crashed into a parked car, early morning at 3:30 a.m.
Eye-witnesses say that after the car crash, Cheryl Cole was wiping her tears away as her passender side airbag failed to open. Thus, the moment their Cadillac crashed into the parked car, the singer was thrown into the dashboard headfirst. While Cheryl Cole didn’t suffer any major injury, she sustained brusing from her head blow.
Will.i.am on the other hand was taken to the hospital after the police arrived to the car crash site. The airbag on Will.i.am’s side did inflate, but it hit him in the face so powerful the rapper was left with a nose bleed. Sources told the media that Will.i.am was released from the nearby Cedars Sinai hospital shortly after the accident and was seen wearing a neck-brace.
A source told the Daily Mail after the accident Cheryl Cole and Will.i.am seemed overwhelmed by what had happened. “Both seemed shaken but were checking each other over” said the source.
After the car crash, both Will.i.am and Cheryl Cole notified their fans they were OK. Will.i.am posted on his Twitter page: “Car accidents are not dope. I’m glad I’m OK”, while adding both him and Cheryl Cole are fine. He explained they “were coming back from the studio” when they crashed into the parked car. Of their injuries Will.i.am said it was “just a little whiplash”.
Cheryl Cole had a similar, but much shorter message for her Twitter fans. “Don’t worry me and @iamwill are fine, promise”. A spokesperson for the singer told the British Daily Mail that “Cheryl is fine, she was shaken by the accident but is ok”.
