For the past two years Evelyn Lozada and Chad Ochocinco have been at it on and off. It’s been such a bumpy road they’ve even called off the wedding for short period of time over cheating suspicions. But on 4th of July Chad Ochocinco and Evelyn Lozada finally tied the knot. On the big day, Chad Ochocinco tweeted about him being nervous about getting married.
July 4th was Chad Ochocinco’s special day. He tied the knot with his longtime girlfriend Evelyn Lozada in Miami, during a ceremony that will air this September on VH1. But Chad Ochocinco gave fans an unexpected delight as the anxiety of the day got even to one of the most cold-blooded sportsmen today. Chad Ochocinco posted several messages about him getting married, his bride to be and even the wedding anxiety.
For the most part, Chad Ochocinco tweeted about him being nervous. As his posts read he was a nervous wreck for the most part. “What if Evelyn Lozada is a runaway bride when I get out there and I’m stuck looking good all by myself…did I mention looking good?” reads the Dolphins’ receiver post.
But the anxiety couldn’t keep him away from Twitter for long. “I’m breathing like a pregnant lady in Lamaze class right now… I was hoping continuing to tweet with y’all support would calm me down” confessed Ochocinco. Chances are he was never this nervous when it came to basketball, but getting married seems to have put the receiver under a lot more pressure than winning a game.
“Here we go…Proverbs 18:22…I love you guys…If I do it right the 1st time I won’t have to do it again…Turn up…” he wrote. Then shortly he started freaking out about his bride’s to be changing outfits. “Y’all still there? How many times is Eve gonna change outfits…Is this normal to have more than 1 outfit besides the wedding gown?” reads another of the athletes’ posts during his troubled time. “Well…she’s on outfit #4 and I’m stuck in this damn tux” he tweeted after a while.
“I don’t recall sending the butterflies in my stomach and invite. Why am I shaking like I’m in Alaska” another tweet wrote. It wasn’t until the wedding ceremony ended that Chad Ochocinco finally seemed to get a grip.
