Famous actor Jude Law and his ex-girlfriend Catherine Harding are going to become parents. So, the star is set to welcome his fifth child. Reports reveal that the actor and his former girlfriend are expecting their first child together during the spring. 

This will be the first child together for the former couple. However, it seems that despite the split, both Catherine Harding and Jude Law are happy with the new addition to the family. “Whilst they are no longer in a relationship, they are both wholeheartedly committed to raising their child,” a statement from the couple said. 

“They consider this a private matter and other than this confirmation no statement will be made. I ask that you respect the privacy of all parties involved and their families,” it added. Well, this will be the first child for the happy couple, but not the first one for the famous actor. 

The star has three children with his former wife Sadie Frost, Rafferty, Rudy and Iris. Rafferty is 17 years old, while Rudy is 11 and daughter Iris 13. However, Jude Law also has a child with Samantha Burke. Sophia, the couple’s daughter, is 4 years old. 

Jude Law and singer Catherine Harding had a short romance, earlier this year. Apparently, the two met while Jude Law was filming in the Czech Republic for his upcoming movie. Friends of Catherine also revealed that the singer is happy to be a mom for the first time. 

Catherine Harding became highly famous after her appearance on the Irish version of The X Factor. She definitely managed to impress with her performance of the song Nothing Compares to You. The singer is also known by the stage name Cat Cavelli. Catherine and Jude Law spent six weeks together this year, while the actor was filming in the Czech Republic. 

The two stars did not reveal why their romance ended, but it seems that they are in good terms. Their joint statement added that the couple will reveal nothing else besides the statements they made at this point. Well, congrats are in order for the happy new parents.
