Carrie Underwood is getting ready to release her new album which she described as “14 tracks of awesome”. The singer performed on Tuesday in Manhattan’s Times Square during the “Good Morning America” show and allowed fans to catch up with the recent events in her life.
Carrie Underwood lived up to fans’ expectations on Tuesday even though the weather in New York didn’t seem to be on her side. After performing “Good Girl” and “Cupid’s Got A Shotgun”, the two singles from her new album, “Blown Away”, Carrie talked about her future plans.
Underwood told the “Good Morning America” host, Robin Roberts that she is very excited about her new album. In fact, the singer thinks fans will love the “14 tracks of awesome” that have been included on the LP. Unlike her previous albums, “Blown Away” encompasses a variety of feelings, emotions and rhythms. There are several angry songs, as well, because this tempo has become the artist’s signature.
Surprises don’t stop here: the five-time Grammy winner announced that she will start a new nationwide tour this fall. The 29-year-old interpreter is actually very happy that she will be on the road again and will have the opportunity to meet fans from various regions of the country. Those who want to come to her concerts will have to wait until May 11 because tickets will not go on sale until then.
Carrie Underwood won’t be accompanied by her husband, NHL player Mike Fisher, in the fall tour because he doesn’t like to be on the road. According to her, Fischer finds it hard to sleep in the bus because the bed is not big enough for both of them. Even if they won’t be seeing each other a lot this fall, Carrie doesn’t worry about her marriage because Mike is a person she can rely on. The hockey player is the only lover that the singer has had, who never gave her reasons to doubt his fidelity.
Carrie Underwood plans to keep in touch with her fans from now on with the help of the Twitterverse. The singer has finally acknowledged that it is important to interact with her admirers through the social network.
