Cara Delevingne Wants to End Fashion Career

Cara Delevingne is one of the most famous models at the moment. However, it seems that the talented star was actually ready to put an end to her fashion career, due to the bad taste that the fashion industry can easily leave. Cara claimed that she had such a bad experience with fashion that she was determined to quit her career.

“I am not doing fashion work any more, after having, like, psoriasis and all that stuff,” Cara said. “Modelling just made me feel a bit hollow after a while. It didn’t make me grow at all as a human being. And I kind of forgot how young I was … I felt so old,” she went on to add. So, the star also opened up about her disease. Cara had suffered from psoriasis, which caused her lack of confidence. The disease is commonly characterized by patches of abnormal skin.

Cara went on to say that the world in which she worked was quite cruel. The star claimed that commonly people refused to touch her, thinking that the disease could have been contagious. “People would put on gloves and not want to touch me because they thought it was, like, leprosy or something,” she said. “It is a mental thing as well because if you hate yourself and your body and the way you look, it just gets worse and worse,” Cara went on to add.

The star also claimed that her fashion career had sometimes also come in contradiction with her own believes. She said that she never linked posing in sexually suggestive ways, as she actually considered this to be against feminism principles. “I am a bit of a feminist and it makes me feel sick,” the star said.

Apparently, Cara is now willing to focus more on her acting career, so maybe the star will really end all her links to modeling. Cara also claimed that she feels sorry for the young women who start working in the modeling industry. However, she is now focused on her acting, while her debut in Paper Towns has been quite appreciated. Cara is currently working at another movie, Suicide Squad.
