It’s been rumored for a while now, and Simon Cowell made no secret he wants Britney Spears on the show. Now, Us Magazine writes that Britney Spears will judge X Factor.

Ever since the last rumors regarding the $15 million wage the pop princess wants made it in the media, it became obvious that Britney Spears will join X Factor as a judge. However, since we still don’t have an official confirmation from either Britney Spears or the X Factor producers, it’s hard to say it’s a set deal. But, in the end, Simon Cowell usually gets what he wants.

Us Magazine writes that its source confirmed a report E! News had released yesterday. “There’s been a lot of back and forth over the past few weeks as they negotiated the small details, but she’s on” told the source for an E! News reporter. The source also added that the deal is “all completed and Britney is beyond excited”.

It goes without saying that with a $15 million deal at one of the most popular shows in America today, if not in the world, everybody would be excited. And Britney Spears should be raving, since things haven’t gone exactly well for her. At least from a financial point of view. Her fiancé, Jason Trawick, was given conservatorship of the singer. He took over after Jamie Spears, Britney’s father, who was granted conservatorship after the pop princess had her famous breakdown in 2008.

So it goes without saying that Britney is so excited with the gig. In the end she had four gruesome years and now she gets the chance to shine once again. Another source told E! News: “She can’t wait to sit down next to Simon at the judges’ table and give this everything she’s got. She is excited about showing the world that she can do this, and do this well”.

All in all, if the report is confirmed, then there are two left openings for the seat of judge at X Factor. There are already reports about Demi Lovato, Miley Cyrus and even Avril Lavigne who have been contacted by Simon Cowell regarding a job opportunity as X Factor judges.
