The Associated Press reports that Jon Bon Jovi’s daughter, Stephanie, was arrested after allegedly overdosing on heroin. The girl, a student at Hamilton College, was rushed to the hospital on Wednesday afternoon after becoming unresponsive due to the consumption of a large quantity of heroin.

Stephanie Rose Bongiovi has found a way to capture the media’s attention. The daughter of the famous singer, Jon Bon Jovi, was taken to the hospital on Wednesday afternoon because she had overdosed on heroin while partying with some friends in Hamilton College. The girl’s condition is now stable, but police officers plan to arrest her for drug possession.

Police officers at Kirkland told reporters that they searched the girls’ rooms as soon as the medical personnel took Stephanie to the hospital. They discovered a small quantity of heroin, marijuana and a drug called drug paraphernalia. As a consequence, they arrested Jon Bon Jovi’s daughter this morning after charging her with possession of controlled substance, marijuana and illegal use of drug paraphernalia. Stephanie was released several hours later, but she is expected to appear in court at a later date.

Stephanie was not the only student who was arrested after the police investigation. According to authorities’ declaration, two other students were taken to the police station, including Ian S. Grant, 21, of Red Bank, New Jersey. The latter was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.

Hamilton College’s administration published a press release on their website in relation to the episode. They, too, have condemned the students’ behavior because the latter have violated the laws of the state, as well as the policy of the college. They further added that they will do their best to cooperate with police officers and help them with the investigation. They refused to provide details about the girl’s health condition, but they reassured everyone that students’ safety is the main concern of the college.

Stephanie is the daughter of rock star Jon Bon Jovi and Dorothea Harley. They have three other boys in addition to her.
