Black Friday’s final calls: huge discounts for “Gears of War 3”, “Battlefield 3” and other videogames

As Black Friday is already here, here are some other incredible offers you should know about, before leaving home for you shopping spree. Huge discounts have been made for video games, at Best Buy Walmart.

According to Reuters, some of the most popular video games have been discounted at Walmart and Best Buy. “Gears of War 3”, “Battlefield 3”, “Batman: Arkham City” and “Gears of War 3” are just a small part of the huge list of video games that can be bought for up to 70 percent less than the normal price.
Paul Raines, chief executive of GameStop, says that the Black Friday offers come as a great opportunity for people to buy their favorite games for a much affordable price, as for the third part of this year, this market sector had “a cash-strapped consumer that could not afford all the good titles released”.

So here you go: pay less than half the original price for “Battlefield 3”, created by Electronic Arts, for Microsoft’s Gears of War 3 , or for “Batman: Arkham City” by Warner Brothers. When they were released, these games were priced at about 60 dollars each. Now, you can buy two of them and you would still not reach that sum. The price tag for one game is around 28 dollars at Walmart, and 30 dollars at Best Buy.

If you are looking for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 with a discount, you may not be that lucky. The game was incredibly successful since the first days from its release, cashing in 775 million dollars in the first week. So, there is still no new about any store having it at a discount price.

And you what you are looking for is a console, Best Buy has a special offer. Buying the 4 GB Xbox from Microsoft will get you a 100-dollar gift certificate.
