Not many celebrities today have managed to keep their lives private as much as Beyonce  and Jay Z have. In New York alone, both surely have a hard time trying to keep paparazzi away from their everyday life. However, Beyonce made the first steps in opening up to her fans by opening up Tumblr and Twitter accounts and posting a huge collection of personal photos featuring both her and Jay Z.

For fans, Beyonce’s posting of personal photos on Tumblr and Twitter has been perhaps the greatest gift the singer could have given them. As the queen of New York City explained she is giving fans a “view into her world”. And what a world to see. The personal photo collection features Jay Z and Beyonce away from the stress of the paparazzi flashes.

Both Jay Z and Beyonce haven’t been particularly focused on their online presence. Or at least not as much as other celebrities of their caliber are. Anyway, this is how Beyonce explained the online absence on her Tumblr page: “it’s been a long time coming – but I finally have my own place on the web”.

Beyonce.com is a great multimedia website to explore. Basically it’s very similar to any other’s artist webpage, featuring sections “The Latest” and “Performance” with info about tours and concerts, “Music” and “Vault”, promoted by the singer as “the heart of my site”. The website also carries an official fan section labeled “Beyhive” and an “I Am” section that carries the singer’s private message. And obviously, the site also features a huge collection of personal photos of Beyonce and Jay Z depicting their family, performances together, moments from their honeymoon, travels and their friends.

The “I Am” section reads: “I Am: This is my life, today, over the years – through my eyes. My family, my travels, my love. This is where I share with you, This will continue to grow as I do. Love, Beyonce”.

Down the road, Beyonce is reportedly working on two new music projects and will also appear in Clint Eastwood’s “A Star IS Born” and in Ryan Murphy’s “One Hit Wonder”.
