Ben Affleck proved he is a well-mannered man when he decided to leave an apologizing note on the windshield of the parked car he had just damaged. According to Us Weekly, the actor knocked off one of the mirrors of the car while he was taking his two daughters, 3 -year-old Seraphina and 6-year-old Violet to the Santa Monica Promenade.

Ben Affleck was in a hurry to spend some quality time with his daughters, so he accidentally sideswiped a parked car and broke one of its mirrors. Since the owner of the car was not present on the scene, Ben decided the most polite thing to do would be to leave a friendly note apologizing for the inconveniences that he might have caused.

Sources have stated that the “Argo” star began his written message by explaining the owner what had happened, namely, that he knocked off one of the mirrors. He apologized for everything and reassured the damaged party that he will take care of everything. The letter was signed with the name “Ben” and was followed by the actor’s personal phone.

The 40-year-old star did not let this small incident ruin his day out with the girls. On the contrary, he and his two girls, Seraphina and Violate had a wonderful time at a book store on the Santa Monica Promenade. Later on, they decided to go to a McDonald’s and grab something to eat before they returned home.

The person whose car was damaged did not make any public comments after the incident, so we don’t know whether Ben covered the costs or not. Either way, his wife, Jennifer Garner will think twice before asking Ben to drive their children to school.
