Beckham couple welcomes first baby girl

David and Victoria Beckham welcomed their first baby girl on Sunday. The couple already has three boys. According to Associated Press David beckham posted the name of his little girl on his Facebook page.

Former Spice Girl Victoria Beckham has seen a dream come true, when giving birth to a baby girl on Sunday morning. The baby was born at 7.55 a.m. at Cedars Sinai hospital in Los Angeles. According to a message posted to Simon Oliveira’s Twitter page, the Beckhams are “delighted to announce the birth of their daughter”. He also adds that the baby is healthy, weighing 7lbs 100 oz and that all the members of the family are enthusiastic about the new addition. The girl was in the same morning that David Beckham had a game with Chicago Five. Playing for Los Angeles Galaxy, the popular soccer star scored the second kick for his team, assuring its victory with 2-1.

Victoria and David Beckham had a surprise when finding out that the fourth child is going to be a girl. The couple has three boys: Brooklyn, who is 11, Romeo, who is 8 and Cruz, who is 5.

Daddy Beckham made public the name of his baby daughter on his Facebook page. Like all the other names of his children, this was not going to be a common one. Her name is Harper Seven Beckham. Just a few days before the birth of their baby, David took a photo of his very pregnant wife and uploaded it on Facebook. He posted a cute comment beneath it: “Took this pic of Victoria when she wasn’t looking. She looks amazing, so close now to the baby being born!”

Soccer player David Beckham, 36, met Victoria “Posh Spice” Adams, 37, in 1997, when she attended a Manchester United game. He proposed to her on January 24, 1998. The couple got married in 1999 in Ireland.
