Ashlee Simpson and Evan Ross are a happily married couple now. The two got married this weekend and it seems that they are amazingly happy. 

Ashlee Simpson and Evan Ross announced their engagement in March. Reports reveal that the couple had their wedding ceremony at the estate of Diana Ross, Evan’s mom. The event took place on Sunday, in Greenwich. Ashlee wanted her son to have a special role at the event, so Bronx was the one who walked his mom down the aisle. Ashlee’s boy is 5 years old now. 

E! News reported that Jessica Simpson attended the ceremony and she actually had a special part in it. Jessica served as matron of honor, while Evan’s mom was the officiant, some sources indicate. Sources also reveal that the singer had a beautiful pearl-embellishing gown for her wedding. She had worn Neil Lane jewelry. After the ceremony, the guests attended a small party, but they reportedly had a beautiful performance from Steve Wonder. 

However, reports reveal that Stevie Wonder wasn’t the only one to perform at this celebrity wedding. The ceremony was also graced with a performance by Diana Ross. The 70 year old star was extremely involved in the wedding of her son. Evan previously admitted the important role that Diana had in the wedding planning, saying that she actually was involved in every part of the wedding and engagement party. 

Reports indicate that both Ashlee and Evan wanted a small and intimate wedding and this is exactly what they planned. The couple claimed that they just couldn’t wait to get married after their January engagement. So, there is no wonder after all that this couple did not wait for too long until becoming husband and wife. 

This is not the first wedding for Ashlee Simpson, who has previously been married to Pete Wentz. The couple wedded in 2008 and their union lasted until 2013, when they filed for divorce. It seems that Ashlee was able to find love after all, as in July 2013, the singer started to date Evan. This is the first marriage for Evan Ross.
