But, although Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt finally got engaged and seem decided to make their relationship official, we can’t help wondering when will they marry already?
In Hollywood the time span of relationships that reach the moment of engagement is somewhere around several months. Many celebrity couples today announce their engagement and even tie the knot somewhere between 9 to 16 months. But Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, the queen and king of Hollywood, kept us waiting for six years before they finally got engaged.
Over the last six years Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt had a busy time being some of the most popular and watched people on this Earth. And even if it was rumored before, this time the engagement was confirmed by Brad Pitt’s manager. Last Friday, Brad Pitt put an engagement ring he designed himself on Angelina Jolie’s finger.
“Yes, it’s confirmed. It is a promise for the future and their kids. There’s no date set at this time. Brad designed the ring” said the manager. So, it took him six years to finally propose, but according to sources, Brad spent at least one of those years designing the engagement ring.
But now that Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s engagement is official, everybody is now anxious to learn the date of their wedding. All sort of estimates and plans are being drawn by reports at this point, as everybody is expecting the Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt wedding bash to be even more popular than that of UK’s royal heads Prince William and Kate Middleton.
The opinions are diverse, as some say the Brangelina wedding bash is going to be the event of the century, while others are convinced it is going to be a very private ceremony. Bradley Jacobs, senior editor at Us Weekly, said: “I don’t think you’re going to see a bunch of fanfare. It’s certainly not going to be a Kim Kardashian – style wedding…It’s going to be very subdued”.
Although we love how Kim Kardashian is so public with her life, chances are the Brangelina wedding is going to be a very stylish and private ceremony.
