Great news for Amal and George Clooney. The famous human rights lawyer is pregnant with twins. This means that Amal and George are going to become parents for the first time. One report revealed that Amal and George will welcome their babies sometime during the summer.
Until then, it is safe to say that the stars are preparing for parenthood. The pregnancy rumors were confirmed by Julie Chen on The Talk. “Beyonce is not the only superstar expecting twins,” Julie said. “Congratulations are in order for George and Amal Clooney! Give her the armrest, by the way, she’s pregnant!” she added. “What we did find out is that the twins are due this June.”
The news was also confirmed by Matt Damon, who seemed to be very happy for Amal and George. Matt was one of the people who first found out about the pregnancy. The actor claimed that he was very happy for his friends and he almost started crying when George told him the great news. The actor said that George Clooney told him that he was going to become a father last fall.
“I was working with him last fall and he pulled me aside on set and I mean, I almost started crying,” Matt Damon said according to Entertainment Tonight Canada. “I was so happy for him. And I was like, ‘How far along is she?’ And he goes, ‘Eight weeks,'” the famous actor went on to say.
” ‘Are you out of your mind? Don’t tell anybody else! Don’t tell anybody else! Don’t you know the 12-week rule?’ ” he shared. “Like, of course he doesn’t.” The actor also said that he is actually “thrilled” for Clooney. He also praised the actor and his successful wife.
“She’s amazing. He hit the jackpot. Just on every level. She is a remarkable woman. They’re gonna be great. They’re gonna be awesome parents. Those kids are lucky,” Matt Damon concluded.
George Clooney and Amal Alamuddin wedded back in 2014. The two have always been very private about their personal lives. The pair has not commented on the rumors. The sex of the upcoming babies remains a mystery, but most likely new rumors will emerge on this subject, as well.
