Based on a recent report published by CNET News, the 3.0 versions of the Windows 8 Phones seem to work better than the previous versions. As in the case of Microsoft’s software programs, it is best to wait several months before purchasing them in order to make sure that they have been upgraded.
Very few people actually bought Windows Phones when they were first released in 2010 and it turns out they made a good choice. According to analysts, the models that will be released at the end of the month are much better than the previous ones, so they are really worth purchasing. Nokia and HTC have created smartphones that really appeal to buyers due to their elegant software and their advanced hardware.
Even though the recently launched phones will most likely attract customers with their improved technology, there are some less appealing aspects, as well. The fact that Microsoft does not have as many apps as Google and Apple could prevent customers from purchasing the new phones.
Lumia and HTC’s phones come with large cases and big, vividly colored displays. The 8-megapixel cameras, the dual core processor and the near-field communication radios are the main options said to trigger consumers’ curiosity. The near-field communication radios give users the possibility to share pictures and documents by simply tapping their phones together.
Nokia’s phone may not be as thin as the ones available on the market, but it is definitely the most technologically advanced. Smartphone lovers will be able to use many more photo options, free music services and wireless recharging systems if they choose to purchase Lumia. Customers who prefer thinner phones instead could opt for 8X from HTC. The smartphone is lighter, sleeker and more resistant due to its rubberized back which absorbs shocks.
Microsoft is willing to improve its platform in the following period by allowing developers to create apps for both Windows Phones and PCs. Even so, skeptics doubt that the company will catch up with Apple’s iPhone and Google’s Android platform.
