I walk a lot at work on outdoor sites, and when the weather gets warm I tend to sweat (like most guys). This leads me to having to shower more often than I’d like, which gives me fairly dry skin. I get some dandruff on my scalp, but it can get even worse with the skin under my beard. This shampoo is great in helping get the flakes under control. And the scent is EXCELLENT — a typically great Old Spice aroma that’s manly without being dark or musky. The scent is what I think is known as “aquatic” — clean and energizing.I’d give this shampoo five stars but for the price — it’s kind of expensive. But it is really good stuff.
The shampoo does the job and is very good in terms of the value for money. One thing that stands out and I did not like it the smell of the shampoo. It is very different from the previous ones I used and is not pleasant.
I’ve used head and shoulders for years and it’s always been a great shampoo with a nice scent and it does the job when it comes to flaky dry hair.
Andis Clippers Clipper Oil 4 oz (Pack of 3)
Andis Clippers Clipper Oil 4 oz ( Pack of 3)
- 4 oz. bottle is resealable to prevent unwanted spills
- Prevents rust and corrosion on clipper and blades
- Works great on all clipper blades
- Colorless and odorless
- Great for shears
Ordered the 3-pack of Andis clipper blade oil for convenience. Price was fair; probably could have got a bit cheaper if I shopped it out locally, (but why for a few cents?)Arrived fast and on time as promised. Couldn’t be happier!
I use it for my shaving clippers
All the bottles were sealed. There weren’t any leaks or spills. There’s enough oils to last a while and the price was great. My Andis T-Outliners are running smoothly thanks to this blade oil.
Moroccanoil Treatment Oil
Seriously, I am so disappointed that I can’t ever like this product. I was very excited to try this out, but the moment I opened the cap, I hated it. It has this weird vanilla-ish sweet scent that ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTS me. No offense to those of you guys out there who like the scent, but to me this just smells like a really bad man perfume. To make things worst, once you touch this liquid the scent doesn’t even go away for hours. If it had a good fragrance I would appreciate the long-lasting scent, but I washed my hands like 10 times and I washed my hair (again) because the scent was giving me a headache. If you are sensitive to how things smell like me, please try smelling this thing before you buy a large bottle of this.I’m so glad I bought the travel size…
It works great on my dry frizzy hair however I saw this considerably cheaper on other sites. Unfortunately I saw it after I made this purchase
I don’t know what is going on with Moroccan oil lately. I have been using it for YEARS–like, over a decade–and I have always loved it. A while back, however, I ran out and couldn’t find it at any local salons or beauty supply places anymore. I finally broke down and ordered it here, and I was so excited to have it again, because I love the way it makes my hair smell and it helps with detangling. But what I received was very different. It was the same bottle, and the pump was a nice added feature, but the oil is less…oily…if that makes sense, and the scent is so weak and slightly different–almost citrusy or something. It’s as if they diluted their product and began using cheaper ingredients. I’m so disappointed, and this stuff isn’t cheap! I’m still using it on my hair, but I will probably be exploring other brands after this bottle runs out. What a waste.

My poor little baby had a mild case of cradle cap that, although it didn’t seem to bother her, bothered me immensely. I bought this kit and also a cradle cap soap. I would use the comb to scratch up the flakes, usually while she was asleep. She never even twitched while I was doing it. Then I would give her a bath to get all of the flakes out of her hair. I did this a couple times a week. I also used the foam pad and the little brush to scrub her head after putting shampoo on her hair. I’m not sure if the foam pad was necessary but I felt like the brush helped pull up some of the flakes. The only drawbacks were:1) the comb is hard to clean so there’s still a little residue on it after you use it;2) the foam pad is also hard to clean so it starts to look a little dingy after continued use; and3) after using this on your baby’s hair you’ll still need to use another comb to get all the flakes out of their hair. When my baby’s hair was drying I could see that the flakes I was getting off of her scalp were stuck in the ends of her hair. I guess using the brush and pad kind of rubbed them in and no matter how many applications of soap I used, I couldn’t wash it out. So I had to comb her hair after I finished washing it to get the flakes to completely go away. The cradle cap lasted from the time she was two weeks old until she was about 2 1/2 months old and now it’s finally gone. I just stuck with the ritual and it worked! I would definitely recommend this product. For those of you who want to know which shampoo I used it was Bella B Naturals Bee Gone Cradle Cap Baby Shampoo. My pediatrician also gave us samples of Free & Clear medicated shampoo but I only used that a couple of times. Good luck!
My 2 month old had horrible scaley cradle cap. I used Elizabeth Parker cradle cap baby balm and left it on for an hour. Then I used the Frida system with regular Johnson’s baby shampoo. The brush didn’t do much but the COMB! OMG this comb is amazing.Sorry for the gross picture but as you can see, it works!
I can see this working for more mild cases of cradle cap, but even used in conjunction with the Mustela shampoo my son still suffers. Perhaps it’s user error but I’m glad this is working for other people.
MATRIX Total Results Miracle Creator Multi-Tasking Hair Mask | Intensely Nourishes & Strengthens Hair | For Damaged Hair
I love this product.
I have well water so i need a mask often, very handy having it in a bottle vs 1 oz. packs.
This Matrix Hair mask works wonders and makes my hair feel incredibly healthy, manageable and super soft. The formula is thick (and pink) but is still very easy to spread throughout my hair. It also rinses out very easily and doesn’t make my hair look oily or greasy like some hair masks I have tried in the past. I have very fine hair but I love volume so I appreciate that it isn’t heavy and doesn’t weigh it down.I looked at Matrix’s website for a more in-depth description. It is supposed to provide 20 benefits:1. Nourishes2. Boosts shine3. Smoothes4. Prevents breakage5. Lightweight6. Helps control fly-aways7. Helps prevent split ends8. Hair feels soft9. Improves manageability10. Primes for styling11. Restores suppleness12. Helps control static13. Improves hair texture feel14. Hair looks healthy15. Strands are revitalized16. Fills in porosity17. Detangles18. Boosts silkiness19. Helps control frizz20. Suitable for color treated hairIt can be used on all hair types and doesn’t deposit any colour or change the tone. It seems expensive at first but the bottle is quite large (16.9 fl. Oz) and you only need to use a very small amount so it should last a very long time.I am really happy with this mask and will definitely repurchase it in the future. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for an all encompassing treatment.
