The new ZTE Blade S6 looks very similar to Apple’s iPhone 6, especially on the round edges and on the faux-aluminum rear, even if it is made of plastic. The only thing that is missing compared with the iPhone 6 is the antenna band markings. The phone is made especially for Europe and Southeast Asia and is available online at the price of 250 dollars, including free shipping. It has been rumored that it will soon be available in stores in Thailand, Malaysia, India and Singapore.
To be mentioned that the New ZTE Blade S6 exceeded several expectations, even if many phones made in China are focusing on imitating a popular design, but failing on the software or configuration part. The new ZTE seems to do quite good at the software part, coming with useful gesture features and a refined phone look, even if it is made by cheap plastic. However, for the price of 250 dollars, the phone is good and it seems to be a great deal if customers don’t want to pay the premium price that iPhone has on the market. Even if it is no iPhone, ZTE Blade S6 is an interesting phone with some good specs, performing a decent Android operating system, but unfortunately with a poor camera and plastic build. It definitely suites for being the first phone, but if customers are not on a budget and they are looking for something premium and with a well-built design, they probably should search more.
As for design, if we are very honest, we will admit that ZTE Blade S6 looks very similar with an iPhone design. However, even if it looks like an Apple device, when it is hold in hand the phone feels lighter and it doesn’t have that classy feel. The home button is a round circle that is placed at the bottom of the display, and there are two other additional buttons that are hidden when not in use, the menu and back. On the back of the device is the 13-megapixel camera, placed right close to the edge. On the left side, users will find the dual 4G nano-SIM slots and the microSD card slot. At the top of the phone, there is the audio jack.
ZTE Blade S6 is packed with a midrange 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 octa-core processor, powered by 2GB RAM, 16GB of onboard storage and a 2,400mAh battery. The phone is running Android Lollipop 5.0, with a custom MiFavor 3.0 skin on top.
