Mark Wahlberg missed Donnie’s wedding to Jenny McCarthy because he actually had to attend his daughter’s birthday party.
Donnie Wahlberg and Jenny McCarthy married on Sunday, August 31. “Congratulations, guys! Congratulations from all of us. Wish we could be there — it’s Ella’s birthday today,” Mark said in a video he made especially for his brother. Actually, to give his best wishes to Donnie and Jenny, Mark made a video with the whole family, so including his wife Rhea Durham and their four children. “I love you, Donnie. Very happy for you. Sorry we can’t be there. We’ll see you soon,” Mark also said in the video.
And that was not all. Mark Wahlberg also took Twitter to officially congratulate the happy couple. He sent his best wishes to his sister in law on the social network. “Congratulations @DonnieWahlberg and @JennyMcCarthy, so happy for you both today,” Mark wrote.
And it seems that Donnie was happy with the message he received from his brother. “Thank you @mark_wahlberg. Thanks to you and @rheadur for the adorable video for me & Jenny! Please wish a Happy B-Day to my goddaughter Ella!” he responded to the Twitter post.
Actually, Donnie is as happy as possible after his wedding. Only a few days after the ceremony, the star shared a photo of himself and his new wife along with a beautiful message. “Mr & Mrs Wahlberg, checking in from heaven. Thank you for all of your well wishes. #happy,” the post said.
Donnie Wahlberg and Jenny McCarthy wedded after announcing their engagement in April. The couple seems to be much in love. They chose to have a romantic, intimate wedding ceremony, in front of family and close friends.
