A new season of “Dancing With The Stars: All Stars” ended on Tuesday and a new winner was crowned. Melissa Rycroft may have lost the race for “The Bachelor” and finished the third during her first participation at “DWTS”, but her determination eventually allowed her to become this season’s champ, says Us Weekly.
Melissa Rycroft and her dancing partner, Toni Dovolani, received the mirror-ball trophy during Tuesday’s final edition of “Dancing With The Stars: All Stars”. The competition was strong as the fellow finalists and former champs, Kelly Monaco and Olympian Shawn Johnson, put up a great show, as well. In the end, the judges agreed that Rycroft and Dolovani should receive the award.
Rycroft confessed at the end of the competition that she sensed she was going to win this edition of DWTS. She told reporters that she felt like a champion when she stepped on stage and the confidence enabled her to make a good impression on the judges.
The season finale hosted on Tuesday lasted for two-hours and featured performances of the three finalist pairs of dancers. Returning cast members have all took turns on stage to showcase their dancing moves. Viewers have, thus, been able to watch Pamela Anderson, Sabrina Bryan, Kirstie Alley and Gilles Marini, as well as other stars perform one last dance at the end of the season. The audience was enthused by the show as the dancers proved the rehearsals have improved their dancing abilities. In addition, Johnson, Monaco, Lachey, Ohno, Smith and Castroneves have all been crowned dancing winners in the past seasons.
The winning pair obtained the best scores in the previous editions, so they had all the premises to win the Tuesday’s edition. Viewers liked them, too, as the majority of them granted their votes to the winning pair. It was the “instant dance” that Rycroft and Dolovani had to prepare in less than an hour that convinced judges they should be the winners of this season.
