What does Lohan’s house arrest look like
It has been almost a month since blonde beauty Lindsay Lohan has started serving her sentence. She is on house arrest for a stealing a necklace and has three more months to come. On June 18th, Life & Style magazine visited her in her 3,000 square foot home in Venice Beach to get a glimpse of the regime this princess has during the time she serves her sentence.
Lindsay Lohan has been locked between the walls of her 2.25 million dollars Venice Beach home, with a monitor at her ankle that she wears 24 hours a day. She will be wearing it a few days more, as the court decided that she would be monitored the first 35 days of her house arrest.
Despite de visible luxury that the star is surrounded by, she tells Life & Style that she would rather prefer being out. “I'm a very social person, and I like being outside, especially in Venice Beach”, she says in the interview. I'd like to get out more -- just going out and having dinner.” She also confessed being very upset for missing the latest family events. “"I was really upset not being able to go to my little brother's birthday party. He just turned 16. That bummed me out.”
Lohan received a four months house arrest sentence instead of getting three weeks in jail. After having a previous experience in jail in 2010 for drunk and driving. The Superior Court Judge also gave her some hours of community service that she is supposed to spend at a women’s shelter and at the county morgue. “This may come as a shock,” she says, “but I mean it: I want to start my community service. I want to finish that so I can work in August and September.”
Until then, Lindsay is enjoying her time with her friends as much as she can inside her luxurious prison. She is allowed to throw parties, but with no alcohol involved. She already hosted a party for her younger sister, Ali. She has also received some work-related visits. “I do understand that I need to gain some of the respect back, but I'm willing to work hard for that” Lohan says.
