Famous actor Tracy Morgan will remain in hospital after the car crash that occurred in New Jersey, on Saturday morning. The star was a passenger is one of the vehicles that overturned, out of the 6 cars that were involved in the collision.
Currently, the actor’s family is at Robert Wood Johnson Hospital, to offer the actor support during this critical and difficult moment. Tracy Morgan’s publicist revealed that the star remains in critical condition. “Tracy remains in critical condition at Robert Wood Johnson Hospital. He sustained these injuries in an accident that occurred early this morning as one of several passengers in a chauffeured SUV returning from a tour date in Delaware,” the rep claimed.
His statement went on to reveal that Tracy Morgan is receiving excellent care and is now having his family with him, as well. “We don’t anticipate much of a change in his condition today but will provide a further update once more information becomes available,” the publicist also revealed according to Access Hollywood.
The car crash occurred on Saturday morning, when a limo bus in which Tracy Morgan, along with other 6 people, overturned. Unfortunately, one of the passengers died on the spot. Morgan, along with other two people were taken to the emergency and are still under hospitalization. They remained in critical condition.
The person who died actually was James Jimmy Mack, a close friend of Tracy Morgan and his comedic mentor, reports reveal. According to the first conclusions of the police, truck driver Kevin Roper failed to see slow-moving traffic. He was accused of causing a deadly crash, but was freed on bail. The man became free on Saturday night, when his $50,000 bail was paid.
At the time of the events, Tracy Morgan was returning from a stand-up comedy show he was attending in Delaware. The famous actor is well known for both his movies and his unique stand up shows. For his great talent and performances Tracy Morgan received an Emmy nomination in best supporting actor category, back in 2009. Hopefully, the actor will feel better very soon.
