As it promised after announcing in July a new line of marquee handsets, the company has release these days a new product, called ZTE Axon Pro. This is their new flagship device.
ZTE Axon Pro is powered by a Snapdragon 810 processor, a clear 1440p display and dual rear-facing camera. This device is available unlocked and costs 500 dollars. This is a very attractive price that will definitely do some damage on the smartphone market.
However, ZTE Axon Pro is not the only handset around that has an affordable price. The OnePlus 2 is another device that comes at the price of 390 dollars and has an attractive configuration. So, we might see an interesting battle between these two companies. However, looking from one side, OnePlus 2 has an advantage.
Still, ZTE Axon Pro is available in three different colors: gold, blue and silver. It has a polished metal body and the rear camera placed on the back. This phone doesn’t look as slim and sleek as other devices, but it feels pretty comfortable in hand. To be added that its construction is very solid and its built-in materials are premium.
Even if it has a huge display, the phone is pocket friendly. People with smaller hands will probably have some difficulties to maneuver this device with just one hand, but that’s not something terrible. Users will find on the left edge a thin volume rocker and a SIM card slot, while up top the device, there is a 3.5mm headphone jack.
Moreover, on the bottom there is a Micro-USB port for transferring data and, of course, charging. The display features a Corning Gorilla Glass 3 and a 1440p resolution that will deliver amazing images and video. Moreover, the screen is very sensible and responsive to the touch and users will have no problem using it out in the sunlight.
ZTE Axon Pro comes with Goggle Android 5.1.1 Lollipop, the latest operating system from Google. However, the phone also has two health related apps, RockMyRun and Argus. RockMyRun will play music that matches the rhythm and temp of users’ run, while Argus is a pedometer that tracks users’ steps during the day.
